Prescription and Non-Prescription Medications

Please bring sufficient medication for the duration of the guest's stay.
Prescription medication in the form of capsules or pills must be in blister packs prepared by the pharmacy.

All other prescription medication such as ointment, patches and inhalers must be labelled with the guest's name, pharmacy and prescriber’s name, prescription number, dosage, frequency and directions of use.

Over the counter medication and vitamin supplements must be labelled by the caregiver with the guest’s name, product name, reason for use, frequency, dose and directions of use.

Staff are not able to renew prescriptions or take medication back to the pharmacy for proper labelling. However, they will contact you should they have any questions in regards to medication for your loved one.

Detailed information concerning medication and staff responsibilities and restrictions are detailed in the Service Agreement.
