Visitors

Visitors are welcomed between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.  We ask visitors to limit after hours visits, to allow for restful evening routines.

The best times to visit are during active periods such as 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., or 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Many caregivers choose not to visit during the respite period, or choose to send other family members/friends, which is also welcomed.

If you are requesting to stay for meal times, please advise the staff in advance by calling ahead.

Guests leaving the Property during a stay

A caregiver or alternate may take the guest out of the Guest House for a visit at anytime. Please let us know ahead of time who will be taking the guest out during their stay.

Since Guest House is a secured program, guests are not permitted to leave the premises on their own.

The Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre grounds are smoke free. There are no designated areas nearby.

Due to the personalized care provided, Guest House can only provide emergency stays for registered guests, subject to availability.
